Books I’ve read recently

I have basically fallen off of the reading wagon. I really haven’t read any physical books for over a week now. The only reading I have been getting done is listening to audiobooks and the ebook I read while on the treadmill or elliptical at the gym. The rest of my time has been spent diamond painting; my new obsession/addiction.

Five Feet Apart

Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott
Format: Audiobook
Source: Scribd
Genre: Young Adult Contemporary Romance
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
Narrator: Joy Osmanski and Corey Brill
Narrator Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Date Finished: 03/14/2018

This was cute, but also sad. I was expecting it to be slightly more dramatic. I loved the characters and I enjoyed reading about their hospital antics.

One Less Problem Without You

One Less Problem Without You by Beth Harbison
Format: Hardcover
Source: Library
Genre: Chick Lit
Rating: ⭐⭐
Date Finished: 03/14/2018

I tried finding the other cover for this book because that cover is honestly a better representation of the inside. We picked this book for book club because we thought it would be a lighthearted, fun read. IT WAS NOT. It was very angry and frustrating making and not particularly satisfying.

Leave Me

Leave Me by Gayle Forman
Format: Kindle Book
Source: Amazon
Genre: Adult Contemporary
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
Date Finished: 03/19/2018

This may have been my least favorite of Gayle Forman’s books. I could relate to the main character, Maribeth, but I could not get behind the decisions she made and the ridiculous things she would get angry about. She was also very hypocritical which I found very frustrating.

I am going to make a better effort to read more this next week. We will see how that goes. Wish me luck!
